Today, Representative Lynn Jenkins’ (R-KS) bill, H.R. 3166, to provide independent accreditation for dialysis facilities passed the House Ways and Means Committee with strong bipartisan support and is now headed to the House floor.

“This is a great step in providing independent third party accreditation for dialysis centers,” said Congresswoman Jenkins. “This commonsense change will help curb bureaucracy in our healthcare to ensure folks on dialysis can get the care they need close to home. I urge my colleagues to support me on this endeavor and bring this bill to a vote on the House floor.”
